iPad Tracker Closing Down

It’s been an incredibly fun run, with ups and downs, but the time has come for us to turn off our iPad tracker.  At this point, the noise we’re getting during the tracking process is becoming too much to cut through, and we feel it would be a disservice to continue running our estimate.
Through the one million mark, we were pretty spot-on (after the adjustments were made along the way), but we feel we can no longer accurately depict the number, and rather than continue tweaking and re-calculating the estimate, the tracker is now closed.

Thank you to all who followed our count during this past month, and to all the iPad users who came through our affiliated sites.  We’ve truly enjoyed the process, and appreciate greatly all the wonderful feedback we’ve received.

Going forward, Chitika Research will continue to plumb the depths of the data available to us to bring you updates and insights on the state of Web usage, and Chitika Labs will continue to put out useful tools for users and webmasters.  Again, thank you for following us during this process, and if you have an iPad, enjoy!
