Running on the success of predicting the elimination of Carson Kressley and Anna Trebunksaya, Chitika Insights has ranked the remaining contestants on ABC’s popular reality competition, Dancing with the Stars. Ahead of the judges scores coming today and voting results tomorrow, Chitika Insights has concluded that Ricki Lake and Derek Hough are most likely to feel the pain of elimination after garnering the lowest online buzz among the group of “celebrity” competitors.
Chitika Insights analyzed a week’s sample of our network, consisting of hundreds of millions of impressions, for an off-beat take on the intersection of entertainment and online search. Each team is given a score, which is a combination of the judges’ marks (between 1 and 10) and public voting. The team with the lowest overall score is eliminated while the rest move onto the next round. The table below indicates the traffic to each team as share of web searches for these celebrities and their partners. David Arquette, movie star and producer, and transgender activist and author, Chaz Bono are duking it out for the most popular team spot with 19.3% and 19.0% of the online traffic respectively for Dancing with The Stars. What a turn of events for Arquette’s team! After all, they came second to last in terms of online interest last week.
Last week, Chaz Bono grabbed a massive share of the search results but the competition looks tougher for the week ahead. Behind Team Schwaz and Team Good Times, teams led by Nancy Grace, Rob Kardashian and Hope Solo seemed tied in their popularity contests within the online public. Get ready, the competition just got more intense!
