Yesterday, Yahoo! announced a new addition to Yahoo! Labs called AdLabs. As a major data nerd, I’m excited to see what new research Yahoo! can bring to the table – some of their previous studies look at Why Moms Go Online, and focus on Internet Connected TV.
Yahoo! Labs has been around for about six years, and according to Yahoo! reps, has “been instrumental in developing Yahoo!’s advertising products, laying a foundation of scientific research and innovative data analysis,” generally being the science behind Yahoo! (like we’re the science behind Chitika).
We’re glad to see more data sources available to advertisers and marketers. This is certainly a useful resource: nothing is more powerful in the online ad industry than data.
