I hope everyone had a great week! To end my Friday, I’d like to share with you guys a few tips on how to use more than one Chitika ad, as we get a lot of questions on this subject!
For starters, here are a few of the most basic things to know about displaying multiple ads:
- – We recommend up to three ads per page. Any more than that will actually have a negative effect on your ad revenue, as your users will experience “ad blindness” and disregard them completely.
- – You can use Google Adsense with Chitika ads! We have actually found that they complement each other efficiently.
- – You can use the same ad code on all of your sites! Just remember to add the sites to your list of approved domains.
We also get a lot of questions about using channels in order to track specific ad performance. It’s important to note that channel tracking will only work correctly if that specified channel receives at least 10 clicks per day. So, if you see a channel “Chitika Default” appear, that means that you probably aren’t getting enough clicks for the channel option to work.. However, if you follow all of our tips, you’ll be well on your way :-)!
To specify a channel, just type in the desired name in the ad in your Premium Code Panel, shown here:
In this example, I used “TopPageAd” as my channel name.
Now, when I want to check on the performance of the channel, I’ll go into my “Advanced Reports”:
From there, you can select different channels and compare their revenue performance. For those of you who like to edit the code directly, check out how to do so here.
Do you find this helpful? Let us know! I love feedback. 🙂 Enjoy your weekend!
